During the researches process, we made sure that the brand name should belong to a source documenting the Qatari origins of our products, so that we could reach the name “Al Ruwais” and Al Ruwais is a coastal city located at the highest peak in the north of the State of Qatar and this city is known by its port where Business owners used to exchange their trade to and from the State of Qatar.
The year 2004 was officially the year in which the Certificate of Registration of a Class 25 Trademark was issued under No. 32357, and the trademark “Ghutra Al Ruwais” began to spread in all markets of the Gulf countries.
After achieving a resounding success in the Qatari market, based on the volume of demand for Ghutra Al Ruwais products, as today, this brand is one of the most important pioneering brands in its field that is distinguished by preserving the Qatari identity internally in the State of Qatar and externally in the Gulf countries, We came to a belief in the business growth and expansion. Accordingly we have established a factory under the name “Al-Ruwais Factory” that specializes in the production of local Ghuttar and shomagh in order to avoid a shortage in any of our products in the market and to maintain the speed of fulfillment and the abundance of production permanently without interruption.
